(July 29, 2024) We've talked quite a bit about NextLevel Acoustics this year, a Boston-based company that sells a variety of speakers and integration products. Its latest announcement piggy-backs on a soundbar product designed to seamlessly integrate – both aesthetically and performance-wise – with Samsung's Frame TV. The new Vestaboard Soundbar Solution introduces audio to a unique analog-like message board product that displays customizable text and graphics using a split-flap display system. By combining the Vestaboard with a high-fidelity audio solution, a more engaging messaging experience can be deployed in commercial spaces like a waiting room, an office, a hotel, or a restaurant, but also in your own home.
The soundbar is designed to perfectly match the Vestaboard’s size and form factor and ships in two color options: white with a white grille or black with a black grille. It's a passive speaker, meaning it needs to be powered by an external amplifier or receiver, giving owners control over the kind of streaming technologies they'll use for content. For example, a Sonos Amp could be installed behind the Vestaboard in a dedicated enclosure. Owners could also reach for a more universal option like the WiiM Amp.
