Hi All,
REW won’t see the mic input from my audio interface, and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.
Mac OS 10.14.6
REW v5.20 Beta 59 (latest)
Sonarworks XREF20 mic
RME Fireface UCX v3.39 (latest)
REW output set to Fireface
Input Device is set to Fireface
Input is set to Fireface input 1 (the mic pre into which the mic is connected)
Calibration file for soundcard created and loaded without problems
Calibration file for mic loaded without problems
Loopback input set to 1 (same as input)
Sample rate is 44.1
When I go to “check levels”, I can hear the calibration signal through my speakers, but audio from the mic doesn't appear at REW’s input meters (neither “In” nor “Ref In”).
48V is on and I’m seeing good levels in the Fireface software (TotalMix). I’ve tried scrolling through all the inputs in REW, just to make sure that REW isn't seeing that particular input somewhere else.
When I change the input away from Input 1 and then back again (while loopback in REW is also set to 1), there is a big “thump” across the In and Ref In meters in REW. So it's briefly seen some kind of input, but it quickly disappears.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a grateful beginner?
Thanks!
