No input data from sound card

Hello all ,first time user

Have downloaded eq wizard to MacBook 10.14.3. and have the recommended usb mic. I thought this meant I didn't need an interface and could
use the headphone socket on mac.
I keep getting message "no input data from sound card" which I'm guessing refers to the macs internal souncard and googling it it looks like
it may be a mac/java issue

If anyone could help me resolve it I would be most grateful

just to add to my first most REW has recognised mic and calibration files and is enabled in security settings.

Which REW version are you running? Needs to be a V5. 20 beta version. Also make sure the USB connector is firmly seated in the back of the mic.

yeh thanks updated version and that seems to have fixed it!
