No output sound from REW using laptop and ASIO- New user

H everyone!
Ignore my lack of knowledge, please. I have gone through setting REW with Umik-1. I have a 7.2.4 set up. All my bed-layer speakers are going through an external amp (OSD Nero XA7180). I have installed REW and ASIO4ALL as well and running the setup using a HP Spectre laptop/Lenovo laptop. I mentioned 2 laptops because after my initial setup on the HP, I tried to check levels and i am not getting any output. The same happened with Lenovo as well. I n my setup, I went into the ASIO control panel and then selected the input and output devices.
My laptop sees the Denon AVR as "Denon AVR -HD audio for display audio"
I can not find any option in setting multichannel on the laptop like Mac has.
Please advise.

Maybe try using Java EXCL drivers and make sure to select the output source as the default player in Windows sound settings. Default player also needs to be at 7.1 channel mode, 48kHz sampling rate, all enhancements disabled, and exclusive access by other apps enabled. The receiver needs to be at Multch-In mode.

I get the below error when I use Java. Still racking my brain to determine what am doing wrong. I appreciate your reply too. Any ideas?

I used my wife's laptop and Java EXCL worked but still I cant hear any sound when I try to check levels

Can you share your receiver's Windows/Sound (i.e. Advanced tab) settings?

I finally got it to work! I Was making the dumbest of mistakes. When I click on check level once I see the signals, I never clicked on "next." I dont why I ignored that all this time for more than a week! IT gave me a good laugh around 1230 am this morning. My goodness!
