Odd timing reference sound

HI John,

I get a strange sound from acoustics timing reference, Im not 100% sure if it started with last update of REW. Check link to listen to the strange sound. Any idea what is wrong?

Perhaps something in the replay chain is operating at a different sample rate. Difficult to say more, I don't have tools to analyse .m4a files.

After switching back and forth with the sample rate it started to work again. No idea what was wrong.
