This shouldn't surprise anybody..

from yahoo,

"The number of U.S. households using only over-the-top streaming services to access TV programming and movies has nearly tripled over the past five years, according to a new report (PDF) from the Video Advertising Bureau out today."

"The VAB report forecasts that by 2021, over-the-top only households will grow 8.2 percent to 17.9 million homes, while multichannel households drop 2.4 percent."

I guess I am one of those. I cut cable/satellite long time ago.. Just use OTA and steam Netflix/Amazon prime.. I am good to go. :)

Pretty clear who does not have to use metered streaming. $10 a gig would not be nice DL-ing that much...So much for Broadband America never happened.

The funny thing is that most people cut cable/satellite due to rising costs but then for streaming, each app is charging you..

You can't win..
