Seasons 1&2 were very good in my opinion. Season 3? I feel like it should be aired on one of the big 3 networks in the early afternoon. It could probably give Days of Our Lives or one of the other soap operas a run for the money. I just find it a bit shocking that this show took such a hard turn towards the circular file bin. Predictable - that pretty much sums it up.

Unfortuately I can't say that I disagree.

I'm not so sure that Taylor Sheridan can pull this one out of the water. It's moved to the bottom of my list.

I think there's only 2 episodes left to this season, so we'll see if it gets any better.

Pitiful excuse for a season if you asked me, but you didn't, so I won't tell you how bad and boring it is.

I have some issues with the show for sure, for various reasons, but the first two season story lines were much more interesting.

I also won't admit that there was a time where I was hooked on Days... back when Stefano had nine lives and Roman was the first Roman, not the replacement... Bo and hope were youngens... blah blah blah.

wow.... Sonnie was a soap fan?!?!?! That explains some things.

We (my neighbor and I) watched the latest episode the other night and we followed it up with two episodes of Westworld. The difference is night and day.

Yes... and I also stayed at a few Holiday Inn's over the years.

Ok so I finally circled back to this series yesterday and what a finish to season 3! I’m back on board. Maybe it could have been as bit more realistic though? :justdontknow:

I’ve tried to get into this show… it’s just so dark. There’s so much negativity… I just find that I need a little bit of happiness in my entertainment when I’m trying to relax.

That said, I like Ozark. LOL.

Just something about Yellowstone that was a bit too far to the dark side

I almost had to click the report button on this post.

I go back and forth with it. I loved the finish to season 3 and then season 4’s finish bored me to sleep. I kinda like Taylor Sheridan’s character though.

Season 5 is out now and we started it last night. They seem to follow the same script from one season to the next. Fighting city folks to save the ranch? Check. Beth goes after Jamie? Check. Rip is awesome? Check. Bar fight? Check. Boring? Check.

This is probably one we’ll be dropping. On the bright side there’s 1923 and Tulsa King waiting in the wings.

What?... and Ozark is not negative and dark? lol ... I think you created an oxymoron there Todd. :whistling:

I figured it wouldn't get any better.

it’s not that Ozark didn’t have a negative dark side, but it had a few breaks from that - here and there - with some humor and moments something was positive (even in a bizarre fashion). Yellow Stone, for me, was just too heavy and depressing from a character perspective.

Weighed on me!
