Heard this discussed on a recent podcast and dug up the article... The Boston Globe is reporting that Bose is experiencing layoffs. But most interesting, they've reduced their workforce by 2,000 workers in recent years.
Bose has experienced incredible success with its NC headphones and Bluetooth speakers... but it appears the competition has closed the gap. Bose gets absolutely hammered by the audio-inclined, but it's not a stretch to say that they've experienced a ton of success over the last two decades. I wonder what will ultimately happen to the company?
