Problems installing on Mac OSX El Capitan

Hi , I am trying to install on a Mac and not having any luck .
When I try and use the Room eq Wizard Installer.App it say that it is "not responding" .
I tried downloading a couple of times , also upgraded Java in case that as needed.

Any thoughts ?

So the DMG mounts OK but the installer doesn't run? Which REW version are you trying to install?

Yes it mounts , when I open it I see the Room eq Wizard Installer.app.
When I try to run that i get the message "you cannot open the application "room EQ wizard Installer.app" because it is not responding"
I am trying to install the version from the REW page , I would assume that is the latest version.

The latest 5.19 beta is in the Downloads section here, the website has the latest 5.18 release. Worth trying the beta as the installer has been updated several times since the last release version.

Not sure what to suggest. Does the account have admin privileges? Shouldn't matter, but worth trying an admin account if it isn't already.
