Real time constant room freq analysis

Hi all.

Ive used REW in setting up 2 studios now and it has been invaluable in placing both treatment and speakers to get the best frequency response possible.

I'm needing it again now to place some speakers.

Normally, i test, move the speaker a bit, test, move a bit ...rinse and repeat.

I was wondering if there was a way of keeping the test-tones going constantly and seeing realtime updates on the screen whilst i move the speaker about? To save me keeping moving back to the mouse and keyboard each time to restart the test. I thought this might speed up the process a little. Is that possible?

Yes, use the pink periodic noise test signal and watch the response on the RTA, here are some suitable settings:
