Newbie problem.

I am trying to use the above microphone, but when I try to load my calibration file for the microphone it says it isn't a recognized USB microphone and won't use the sensitivity value.

The microphone seems to work fine, I just can't use the calibration file.

I tried with Windows 10, 11 and Linux, tried using ASIO4ALL in both windows versions, same issue.
I don't know if this is because this particular microphone needs to be supported by REW, or maybe because I am using a Frameworks13 laptop which is with an AMD mobile processor and REW doesn't like the AMD USB devices?

Any help/answers would be appreciated.

REW doesn't have the data required to support that mic. You can stop the message by removing the sens factor line from the cal file.

Thanks for the quick reply!
I assume it will use the calibration data then, just not the overall sensitivity, so I should use a SPL meter to set the level?

Worked great for checking out my system to verify that Yamaha YPAO did a proper job (with just some subwoofer volume level tweaking required). Using a USB-CtoC female coupler and normal male-male USB-C cable I managed to connect the IMM-6C at listening position to my laptop for a very budget test system.

Many thanks for REW software! (I also used REW as a frequency generator along with a Rigol oscilloscope to verify the frequency response of my old cassette deck). Amazing what you can do for testing on a small budget!
