I've been searching for this for a while - I want to find a multi-room solution that lets me EQ each room to be as good as it can be from overhead speakers. Yes, nobody will know but me.
The usual players, Sonos, Bluesound, Heos - they all lack strong EQ abilities (Sonos has some sort of rudimentary one). Software packages like Roon lack other essential features. Daphile - I have no idea.
My perfect multiroom server would do the following:
1. PC based and can support splitting up sound cards into multiple zones
2. Can sync music
3. Spotify Connect
4. Pager interrupt for doorchimes or announcements
5. and, of course, REW per zone.
I've been looking forever and nothing seems to quite make it there. Musicserver4lox which is an implementation of Squeezelites gets the closest and may be able to do all of this, but most of the documentation is in German.
Anyone have this?
