REW Beta Release REW in OS X 11.4 Does not properly recognize Mic Cal file

I am running on a MacBook (Intel) on OS X Big Sur 11.4 The latest two versions of REW do not connect to the mic even though it shows as connected. It says the cal file can't be all zeros. The cal file isn't all zeros. It has permission to read the file.

It is saying the data coming from the mic is all zeroes, which appears to be caused by macOS denying access even though it thinks it isn't. The way to fix it seems to be to untick mic access for REW in the privacy settings, and accept the prompt to quit now if REW is running, then tick the box for mic access again in the privacy settings and when you start REW up it should have access again. I don't know why that happens, but I saw it on 10.15.7 once as well.

I tried that thinking the same thing and it didn't work/fix the problem.

I tried it again to be sure and same negative results. The version before the last two updates worked fine but I can't find it to download it.

I tried the same version of REW on my M1 Mac mini and it works fine with the mic. However, I can't move it to where I need to do my measurements. I retried after rebooting the MacBook and that didn't help.

I found the prior version and it works with the mic.
