REW/MiniDSP process migrated to Windows11 Platform

I wonder if anyone could give me some pointers. I downloaded the new REW and MiniDSP software and have an old MiniDSP2x4HD that I thought I would use as guinea pig for this upgrade process. The USB driver DAC failed to upgrade but after doing the firmware upgrade on the MiniDSP was I able to connect to the MiniDSP.

I'm having problems importing my coefficient's file from my old Windows7 run as a text file. I converted the text file to an xml file using one of the online converters found on the web. This is the error I got..

Any help would be appreciated. I still have my old Windows7 laptop and won't upgrade untitl I get this bug fixed.

The 2755 error is a Windows error code. Could be you ran it without Admin authority. Here's a video on how to fix it.

I am at the same miniDSP Firmware Versions, so you should be good there.

To load an REW filters text file, open the PEQ window

Then enable the Menu switch

Then press the LOAD BIQUADS FILE button.

Thankyou Jack. I reran the USB upgrade as myself and it worked. ....... I just tried the loading of the filter coefficients and it worked great. One thing I did notice with this new version of software is that you no longer have to unset the crossovers like one had to in the earlier version. Any other default setups I should know?

I can't think of any other default setup differences.
