Hello!
I am trying to setup REW on my 2021 MBP M1 Max running OSX 14.5. Whenever I test levels or attempt a sweep the playback / output is choppy and filled with static.
From the MBP, I have tried running an HDMi cable from the HDMI port on the MBP and also via a TB to HDMI adapter into my Onkyo RZ50 with the same result.
The MIDI setting on the MBP for both my UMik-1 and AVR / HDMI set to 48khz.
The channels in REW are remapped to match the MIDI settings.
The settings in REW are input device to the UMik-1 (calibration file loaded) and input to "microphone". The output device is set to "AV Receiver" and output to "AV Receiver". The option for "speaker" for output never shows but the RZ50 is listed as "AV Receiver".
I've tried to watch setup videos and search but cannot seem to find anyone with a similar issue. The closest I could find is someone running Windows had the same playback issue and the solve was FlexASIO but that doesn't seem to apply for Mac so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction to get this sorted out.
