Hello, i would like to know how to properly input my room measurements. the listening area that i want results for is not typical. It's loosely an open concept area. the main area is 16' x 12' but there are 2 spaces that measure 16' x 5'. The first space has an arched doorway that is 7'6" wide. The other is accessed by a normal doorway , 3'. Do i just add the side spaces to the initial room measurements to get the proper results?
Thank you for any responses..

I have an open 'great room' 22' x 36', 12' cathedral ceiling, A half-wall dividing the LR and kitchen, a 10' x 12' entryway, then a long hall. I have no idea how to account for that. What I *did* do was to position the speakers per the Harman Room Mode Calculator (an excel spreadsheet that my link gets a 404 error for) so bass modes were minimal.

I then measured my speakers up close (2' or 4' depending) with a tight window to eliminate reflections, and EQ'd from there. I'm running Carver Amazings, dipoles with a 5' array of woofers which may help eliminate reflections, so I don't know how much this will help you... :)

Bottom line is, how does it sound to you? I have a selection of well-recorded tracks that I evaluate with, and go by that, with quick EQ curve changes using eqAPO on a windows laptop music server.
