REW won't receive audio from core audio interface on Monterey 12.6

Hi,
I'm having a problem with REW and other apps on os 12.6 (12.5 worked fine)
Computer is a Mac studio.
With either Dante or a Thunderbolt audio interface, I can't get audio to REW and a few other apps.
Apps will still output audio to the interfaces.
Input to Pro Tools, Logic and Quicktime still work.
Maybe because of Apple security updates ?
Any Ideas ?

It shouldn't be a security issue, since REW is a signed, notarised app with mic permissions as part of the signature. Perhaps Apple have changed something though. Which other apps have the same problem?

Davinci Resolve has the same problem. I'll check more apps today.

Running MacOS Monterey 12.6 here... On a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)... And REW 5.20.14... Just tried with a UMM6... Everything works as expected...

Might have a look at the Audio MIDI setup control panel... Are you using something like Soundflower or BlackHole to route I/O? Also check System Preferences, Security & Privacy, Privacy, Microphone - Make sure REW is checked...
