(June 3, 2021) Priced from $14.95 to $39.95, Scenic Labs' all-new LX1 Bias Lighting offers verified enthusiast-grade performance at attractive price points.

The LX1 is available in six different easy-to-install sizes, delivering enthusiasts access to three-sided bias lighting for displays up to 129-inches and four-sided coverage for displays up to 95-inches. Lighting kits can be cut to fit a television's exact measurements if desired.

Scenic Labs says the LX1 is certified for D65/6500K color accuracy by the Imaging Science Foundation. That means its white matches that of D65, offering uncompromised compatibility with televisions calibrated to that reference point. The result is reduced eye strain without any alterations to perceived color.

The LX1 kit connects to a TV's USB 3.0 port (kits ranging in length from 3 to 13 feet can be powered via USB 2.0). Scenic Labs suggests using a dimmer with the LX1. Multiple dimmer options are available from the Scenic Labs dealer network; the LX1 is also compatible with a wide array of aftermarket dimmers and controllers.

According to Jason Rosenfeld, Scenic Labs' president: "We know how frustrating it can be to find affordable, high-quality bias lighting. That's why we engineered LX1 Bias Lighting – an extremely accurate bias light at an affordable price point. The best part is that you don't have to sacrifice quality for affordability. By making some modest changes in specification from our flagship MediaLight brand, we've been able to engineer a high-quality bias light that vastly outperforms the competition and costs less."
