(October 22, 2020) United States-based owners of Denon’s HEOS Bar, Home Cinema HS2, DHT-S716H, and DHT-S516H are eligible to update their soundbars with a new Roku TV Ready firmware update.
Roku TV Ready allows Roku partners to develop products that work seamlessly on the Roku platform, making set up and daily use simple and intuitive. Denon's new update allows Roku TV models to instantly recognize the above soundbar models upon plug-in, initiating an automatic configuration process. Once complete, owners can use one remote for both the TV and soundbar.
Denon says that future soundbars with HEOS Built-in will ship Roku TV Ready from the factory. Current owners can receive and install the Roku firmware update over-the-air (Wi-Fi connectivity required). For more information, visit usa.denon.com.
