Oooo... very curious to see what shakes out of this tree. Expecting big things from Sony in 2024!

I love my A80J. Always fun to see what's new!

Bring it on!

Will ^ do!

Check back here next Wednesday, April 17th.

Just a very brief fun teaser YouTube from Sony:

That's funny... two more days huh?

Yes, actually a little less than two days from now!

Check back here to learn about all of Sony's new 2024 TVs with technical specifications, prices and launch dates. This is a good time for everyone to subsribe to this thread and activate email notifications and also check back here just after12:00PM ET to see the primary information and be a part of the discussions.

Sony invited me to Sony/Columbia Pictures Studios on March 21, 2024 to have an in-depth technical presentation for all of the 2024 TVs & Audio Systems.

One of the big takeaways is Sony's new flagship 2024 BRAVIA 9 is packed with Sony's new 2024 Backlight Master Drive that not only individually controls each of the MiniLEDs but it controls the luminance of each MiniLED. This is a very nice upgrade that enhances the contrast control and delivers a more detailed images. This is the same Backlight Master Drive that Sony integrated in the new BVM-3110 Mastering monitor.

Check out our BRAVIA 9, 8 and 7 webpages that have all of the details and the technical spec. sheets.

Awesome!!! Would love to hear your thoughts on the new crop of 2024 oleds!

Nothing on any 98" mini LED sets yet?

I spent a lot of time with Sony's engineers and product management when I was at Sony/Columbia Pictures Studios. The new flagship BRAVIA 9 is one of the best TVs I have ever seen.

I never thought I would LOVE any backlit TV, but Sony engineers made the CINEMA 9 with very deep and rich blacks, very high peak luminance and insanely great backlight and contrast control that delivers exceptional never seen before depth and details from all content.

@Sonnie, sorry no new Sony 98" consumer TVs for the 2024 model year. The 98" X90L will carry over for the 2024 model year.

That may be a relief on the funds for at least a year... lol.

I just put up all of the .pdf technical specification sheets for all of Sony's new 2024 TVs on our website.

Wow. Super interesting. They're really digging into the weeds and controlling the minutia of what these LED backlights can do. i guess LCD still has legs!

What's the bottom line on price difference between OLED and these Cinema 9 sets?

Here's the best 77" OLED TVs vs. Sony's new Flagship 75" BRAVIA 9 QD MiniLED TV:

Sony's 75" BRAVIA 9 $3,999.

Sony's Flagship 77" A95L QD OLED TV $4,999.

LG's Flagship 77" G4 MLA OLED TV $4,599.
