SPL under 100 Hz

Hi all,

Newbee problem.

Whatever the speakers measured at 30 cm, the SPL curve always drops abnormally from 100 to 20 Hz.

Same result with other DAC or Amp, The mic is UMIK-1.

The method used is sweep.

Any idea ?

What kind of speaker? Looks perfectly normal for a bookshelf model.

If you are using Windows, turn off all the enhancements for all playback and recording devices in the Sound control panel or Sound settings app.

@oldman, what does the rest of your kit (read fill out your account details, My AV System) look like? Do you have a crossover (80Hz) set somewhere? Maybe post an .mdat and tell us about your room...

@sam_adams you are right, the error is due to a microphone setting enabled by default in windows 11.
