Status Audio's new Between 3ANC earbuds are an excellent entry in a crowded space. Currently priced at $199 (MSRP $249), the Between 3ANC delivers comfort, rich sound, a long battery life, and convenience. It also has the best call quality we've tested to date. All of those factors add up to a great user experience.
We've had quite a few earbuds hit the review desk in recent years, but none have shined quite like Status Audio's new Between 3ANC buds. Yes, it offers what you've come to expect from an earbud, with comfort, controls, Active Noise Cancellation, and good out-of-the-box sound quality baked in. It also ships with a compatible app that gives users access to advanced EQ settings for a personalized sonic experience. But what sets it apart is something that many might overlook, and that's Between 3ANC's ability to deliver on the call quality front. Specifically, it does a great job of reducing invasive ambient noise from being picked up and relayed to a caller – a trick that most earbuds fail to achieve.
Status has endowed its Between 3ANC with lots of convenience features, including long battery life, a wired and wireless charging case, and voice prompts. But the buds' unique form factor made add a small kink to an otherwise excellent package. What's the kink? Watch our video review and find out!
