Support for Martin Logan PBK Calibrated Mic

Hi,

I was hoping to be able to use the calibrated microphone which came with my Martin Logan PBK (Perfect Bass Kit) and is used with Anthem’s ARC Genesis software.

I have downloaded a serialized .cal for my microphone it works with ARC. However, REW complains about the file format. The .cal file is a binary file. I'm unsure if it is proprietary and/or if "standard" calibration files are text?

I'm guessing I'm out of luck but thought I'd check in before shelling out for another mic. If it matters, I'm running REW on a Mac.

Binary files are generally proprietary. You could use the mic without a cal file, just don't pay too much attention to the shape of the HF response.
