(February 21, 2025) If you've been curious to experience SVS's latest audio innovations, now's your chance. Today through Sunday, the company is attending the Florida International Audio Expo, offering attendees a chance to hear the brand’s flagship Ultra Evolution speakers and SB17-Ultra R|Evolution subwoofers in multiple high-end demo rooms.
In Room 285, SVS will feature two meticulously curated two-channel systems. One demo setup highlights the Ultra Evolution Pinnacle tower speakers, delivering full-range, reference-quality sound. The second setup pairs the Ultra Evolution Bookshelf speakers with an SB17-Ultra R|Evolution subwoofer in a 2.1 stereo configuration. Both systems will be powered by the Hegel H400 integrated amplifier, which delivers 250 watts per channel, and SVS's own SoundPath Ultra cables. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear curated demo tracks designed to showcase SVS’s latest advancements in acoustically centered time alignment, diamond-coated tweeters, and force-balanced woofer arrays. Guests are also encouraged to request their own reference tracks for a personalized listening experience.
Beyond SVS’s dedicated room, the company’s SB17-Ultra R|Evolution subwoofer will also be featured in Room 454, where it is paired with Metaxas & Sins’ newly launched Czar and Prinz electrostatic speakers. Known for their striking, sculpture-like designs and handcrafted construction in the Netherlands, Metaxas & Sins speakers blend high-fidelity audio with artistic expression. The partnership highlights the SB17-Ultra R|Evolution’s ability to integrate seamlessly with electrostatic speaker designs, providing deep bass extension and precision that complements the clarity and speed of electrostatic drivers.
Jeff Garshon, President of Reel Sound Distribution and exclusive distributor of Metaxas & Sins in the U.S., commented on the collaboration: “Reel Sound Distribution is excited to partner with SVS to demonstrate the synergy between our new Metaxas & Sins speaker series and the SVS SB17-Ultra R|Evolution subwoofer. The subwoofer’s superior fidelity and transient response allow us to offer a pairing that will please even the most critical of audiophiles. The result is an electrostatic speaker system of unparalleled performance and beauty, which we are excited to showcase at Florida International Audio Expo.”
