System Delay interpretation

Hi everyone,

What is the System Delay when using Acoustic Ref, playing from file, and the ref speaker is the same one being measured?
If the acoustic ref is the starting point to measure delays wouldn't under those conditions every delay be the same at the mic and in the system?
Is it a result of the speaker construction (being a hi frequency signal highly dependent on the tweeter position)?

Delay would be relative to the tweeter timing since the acoustic ref is a high frequency signal.
