Toys R Us Closing all Stores in US and UK

"Toys 'R' Us is about to close forever. Six months after filing for bankruptcy in the US and one month after doing the same in the UK, the company is shutting the doors of all 900 stores across both countries, unable to compete with online competitors."

Very sad to see this since as a youth, going to Toys R Us, was a special day.. Alas, can't compete with Amazon, etc.

They are doing the same up here in Canada however their is a company looking at buying them out here and operating under the same name. Time will tell.

Didn't hear of anything for Toys R Us in Canada, only UK and US stores closing. Maybe a Canadian toy company will buy their stores??

It is good that another company is trying to "save" Toys R Us in Canada. Hopefully they can keep it alive and save jobs..
