I'm having problems running measurement sweeps. When I initially downloaded REW and hooked up to my pre/pro I was able to take a measurement. It wasn't much, just a low frequency that I took after following the setup thread. Measurement posted below dated Feb 22.

I then ordered a 15' active HDMI cable and a 15' USB A-C cable so I could reach my normal seating position. I ordered longer than I needed to future proof myself in most any situation I might want to take a measurement.

All settings the same, I tried to do a full measurement and wasn't able to get any sound to the speakers. I could however hear the sweep coming from the laptop speakers.
I checked my pre/pro to verify setup had not changed. I went back to the setup thread and followed it again. I then had problems with the Generator tab, green arrow wouldn't light up, and could not run a test measurement. It gave me a no output error.
I found "enable midi" was checked in comms tab under preferences. I unchecked it, restarted REW.
I am now able to run a measurement but I get no low frequency from my sub and sound comes from both my main speakers and the laptop. See below titled "c ear".

I am running this on an Acer Aspire 5 with Windows 10H. My gear information can be found in my avatar.
I really have no clue what to do or check next. I keep going back to setup thread and retrying step by step to duplicate my initial measurement. I have even switched back to the original cables I used for the initial launch when I was able to make this work.

If any brave soul would care to help me through this teething process, it would be greatly appreciated and Thank You in advance.

Literally, JUST figured out what I was doing wrong.
I had the output device in preferences set to default.
The devil is in the details.
