WiiM is expanding its presence in the premium audio segment with the launch of its new Vibelink Amp, a versatile stereo power amplifier designed to bridge the gap between digital convenience and audiophile-quality sound. According to WiiM, the Vibelink Amp is engineered for seamless integration into any audio setup, boasting robust features and an accessible price point of $299.

At the heart of the Vibelink Amp is a powerful Class-D amplifier capable of delivering 100 watts per channel at 8 ohms or doubling that to 200 watts at 4 ohms—67% more power than its predecessor, the WiiM Amp Pro. This amp aims squarely at those seeking substantial amplification without compromising on fidelity or flexibility.

One of the standout technical highlights is the built-in ESS ES9039Q2M DAC, known for its clarity and dynamic handling of high-resolution digital sources up to 24-bit/192kHz. This ensures your music retains the nuances and depth of the original recordings, whether streaming or from a physical source. WiiM specifically calls out Vibelink’s unique anti-pop design, which leverages hardware ramping circuits and precise software sequencing to eliminate disruptive audio pops that typically occur when switching inputs or adjusting audio resolutions.

On the practical side, WiiM addresses a common audiophile pain point: heat management. The Vibelink Amp incorporates copper heat pipes, a large aluminum heatsink, and an innovative heat-spreading case to evenly dissipate heat and prevent hotspots. Software-based PID thermal management ensures the unit runs consistently cool, avoiding thermal-related issues even during lengthy listening sessions.

Connectivity is robust, with analog RCA inputs for turntables or traditional audio components, and digital optical and coaxial inputs for modern sources. A 12V trigger port enables efficient power management, instantly activating or putting the amplifier into standby mode as required.

Design-wise, WiiM maintains its compact and stackable approach. Measuring just 7.9 x 7.9 x 2.58 inches, the amp matches the form factor of WiiM's popular Ultra streamer, making it easy to integrate into existing WiiM ecosystems. The amplifier is built with an aluminum oxide casing, providing durability while minimizing electromagnetic interference and signal loss.

WiiM CEO Dr. Lifeng Zhao emphasized the community-driven inspiration behind the product: "Many audio enthusiasts love the flexibility of streaming but don’t always want or need a connected amp, and who were also frustrated with the digital audio limitations of other powered amps in the market. We wanted to offer an amp that delivers exceptional sound quality and power without the need for Wi-Fi connectivity."

The WiiM Vibelink Amp is now available on Amazon in gray, with a silver variant soon to follow. For further details, visit WiiM’s official website at www.wiimhome.com.

WiiM has got it going on right now. $299 is a steal.

I have their Ultra, and it is a fine piece with a lot of functionality.

You could create a very fine system with these two combined.

I agree. 100%. For many, the days of an AVR (or similar) to run a 2-channel system are over.

Fantastic to see gear like this landing!
