It is my personal opinion, that Vizio is a decent brand compare to others such as Sony, LG and Samsung. I've have had a few of their TV's, and they are decent for the price. I did have bad experience with their M series, and Vizio replaced them under warranty 4 times. Eventually, they just gave me a refund and I went with a smaller Samsung TV 65" compared to the 80" I was using with Vizio. I've got a few friends that still have their 80" Vizio and never had an issue with it. I guess I was lucky and got the one built on a Friday!

I really changed my mind about Vizio. I thought they were useless but lot of my friends have them and they rave about them..

I think Vizio has become better with time. Their M series was their top of the line a few years back, and I was on of their guinea pig pretty much. However, I've noticed that their quality control has become better. The one thing I am not liking is that you've got to use your phone or tablet as a remote control for some of their TV's.

That must be something for the millennial generation.. lol.

I considered Vizio because you really get a lot for your money. In the end I went back to Sony because I've never had any issues with their displays. Not to mention their processors and motion handling are top notch.

It is all luck of the draw as well. Can have a (insert any brand) and have no issues but then you have (insert another brand) and issues all the time.. lol.
:)

This is true however I think with some brands you lower the possibility a bit.

I have the M series 70" and it's very nice... and it was inexpensive in comparison to a lot of others out there. I'm not one to be super picky about picture quality, but it looks better than anything we've ever had before. Very pleased thus far. I do wish they'd get their apps working from within the TV though.

I have a few of their (Vizio) smaller tv's. At the time they were the only company I could find that were making 1080P thin tv's in smaller models. I have a 26" and 19" used as computer monitors. All other tv's I own are Samsung (six of them). Never have had an issue with a tv (knock on wood).
