If anyone using wireless subwoofer, how is it working out for you with AL measurements?

Yes on two small systems with LS-50 wireless II. bought two wireless transmitter receiver kits. Everything works well. The key is to determine the delay to the subwoofer which is long because of the wireless transmission of the sub signal. Then have Audiolense align all the drives to the slowest driver ( subwoofer)
it works great !

So, you're saying just take measurement with AL as usual, correct?

Yes, because the impulse response is going to be off by quite a bit, manually move them closer together

How do you place the mic? facing the ceiling? I am considering putting a wireless kit on one of my powered sub and place it in behind the LP. What kits did you use? is it BT or WiFi based?

Bump. The mic direction is not clear to me. If anyone did it I would be happy to understand.

Thanks

The mic direction probably doesnt matter for a sub. The mic will be omnidirectional at such low frequencies.

So even if the mic is pointing toward the front speakers and the sub is behind it timing will be calculated correctly?

Another question. Does the sub definition in the speaker tab of the speaker setup effects the was AL measures or processes the measurements? Does it matter downstream if one chooses "subwoofer front right" or "subwoofer back right" to measurements or filter generation or is it just semantics?
