I wouldn't be surprised if the NCAA doesn't do march madness. Like the NBA, just announced, they suspected their season...

Yep, it's official. Tha ACC Tournament is cancelled!

Don't know how this will affect March Madness. I think this pretty much winds up basketball for this year.
FSU won the ACC outright, so at least they have that. But what about all the other teams & players?
This virus is not that bad for healthy people. What do you guys think? I'm a nurse & they are telling us to expect mostly mild illnesses. Should the tournament be played without fans or cancelled altogether? Teams loose momentum, fan support...this certainly changes everything!

Play is suspended through March 30th. No ruling yet on the NCAA Tournament. Don't know how that will work without Conference winners which get an automatic birth. Are we going to see the first April Madness? May Madness?

PGA is continuing without fans. Most other sports are expected to cancel as well.

This is very sad for the players who have worked their butts off to get into their league championship or NCAA playoff. For most this would have been the pinnacle of their playing career.

The sports world is turned upside down. Just about every league has cancelled, suspended, or delayed their games.

Best to be cautious and I think this is good to help reduce the virus from spreading..

Today was to be Selection Sunday.

People are going to get stressed, anxious or depressed if the only live media is 24\7 corona virus spread and it’s impact on jobs and the economy.

CDC recommends no events or anything that has more than 50 people..

A lot of states are going to close the school year earlier than the typical end of May/early June time window.

I see news about states closing restaurants, theaters, bars, any place where large groups of people can congregate..

Yeah, economy will take a hit. Stock market will go down down down...

Hopefully, the virus will go away with all of this shutdown and self isolation..
