Apple releases new phones and watch!

I already have the X phone so not looking to upgrade it, but the new Apple Watch 4 looks fantastic! What are everyone’s thoughts....late night Friday pre-ordering???

I didn’t upgrade from my 7 Plus so I’ll be picking up the XS Max 256 GB. I’m pretty excited but not sure if I’ll buy this Friday night or wait for it to show up on Verizon’s web sight.

Much too big for my taste not to mention the price. My Galaxy S III is the sweet spot in size for me. I have an iPhone 6S Plus for a work phone and really don't care for it, much preferred my previous iPhone 6. Think I'll stick with my S III for now.

I am not that impressed with the new iphone's. Not much of a big improvement from the earlier models. I have the X and I will keep it for a while.. The watch looks good thou.

I've always upgraded, but this year I am going to hold off. I don't think just having a better camera warrants for an upgrade. I've got an iPhone 8 Plus 256GB version, and it's working well. I'm going to stick with it for a few years. I like to have the home button as well.

I liked the home button but now with the X, I am not missing the button. It just takes some time to re-learn the phone.. lol.

True dat. In fact my work phone is a iPhone 7 and I find it anniquated compared to my personal iPhone X.

I like having my home button personally. Every time I try to do something on my wife’s X I end up getting flustered and asking her to get me where I want to be. I suppose I’ll have to learn the swipe gestures now though. My XS Max will be here on 9/21.

I also considered the Oppo Find X before plunking down a small fortune on the XS Max. Has anybody else seen that thing? It’s pretty incredible but the lack of reviews and Oppo closing shop scared me away.

Loving my new iPhone XS Max! Apple should have been using OLED a long time ago.

Waiting on the arrival of my new Apple Watch 4. Apple trade-in will refund $225 for my Apple Watch 3.

I also like the face ID which came with the X. Very convenient. Of course some people object to any biometric device such as fingerprint or face ID since authorities can force you to open the phone via finger print and face ID but can't force you to enter a code to unlock the phone. lol. I am not too concerned thou. Don't keep stuff on the phone that people would find interesting.. lol.

Finally got my new watch. Attached a few photos comparing the v3 and v4. 42mm and new 44mm. I purchased the stainless this time rather than the aluminum. Also a couple of photos of new faces.

I actually have not used that function yet. You checked out the new ECG function yet, they just added it in the last week with the new software update.

Yes, I’ve run a couple ECG’s and that’s a really cool feature. Also impressed you can put the reading in a PDF to give your doctor.
