Gonna start this one soon. I've heard good things about it.

The story is great. I'm up to date and am loving it. The A/V isn't normal AppleTV quality though.

What's wrong with the AV. This, of anything, should rock on that front!

The A/V is outstanding!

Maybe it’s my system, but I feel like the bass is really lacking compared to other AppleTV+ shows (Foundation, Monarch, etc). The Atmos is alright if I bump up my normal listening levels. The HDR is underwhelming in my opinion, but maybe that’s an artistic choice?
Again, I love the series. The story is fantastic and I look forward to Fridays because of it, so I don’t mean to sound like a Debbie Downer. Just not as good A/V wise as other shows IMO.

Huh. Interesting. It's not just one episode? All of them have that issue on your system?

I wonder if it's just mastered at lower reference levels?

Yeah, it’s the whole series. It may be the fact that the bar was set show high by Apple with their other shows that when Masters of the Air came out I was a little let down. I don’t think I’d be saying any of this if it was streaming on Amazon Prime. I’d probably be saying how great I think the A/V is if it was on Prime.

I'm going to check this one out over the weekend!

Just watched Part Seven. Now I feel like an idiot. The A/V, especially the audio, was excellent. There is one scene in particular that was very impressive. I’m sure you’ll know which one it is as you’re watching it.

I watched the first episode Friday and so far it's ok.

Watched any more of it? It started off good, but a little slow for me before it really got going a few episodes in.
I have not. Had a wedding that I had to travel to last week.

I am enjoying the series so far. Well written, and a strong reminder of how many died fighting. The education system really failing the younger generations....lack of understanding how many sacrificed for what we have today.
I watched most of it, really enjoying it,

Agreed. It slows a bit in the middle. But it picks back up again in my opinion. I am really enjoying it and will be sad when it is over.

Well I watched episode 2 and the words that come to mind when describing it so far would be: cheesy, sappy, melodramatic. It’s got to get going soon or I’m gonna have to bow out of this one.

But, how do you really feel about it? :nerd:

Finished it last night as well. I really enjoyed it. I didn’t realize that it was based on actual people. That was cool to see.

Finished the season. Felt it was a good watch. Now I will have to check out the documentary they released alongside it.

Now I'm encouraged! I plan on binging several episodes tomorrow.

I've yet to finish this, but getting there, so far I enjoyed it

I’m with the sentiment so far.
I finished it and thought it was very well done.
And I also thought the documentary afterward was really cool to be able to see and hear the stories from the actual heros portrayed in the show.
Amazing what they endured for the men they served with and our country.

Episode 3 tipped the scales for me. Awesome episode that’s brought me back around on this one.
