We're loving OTA's uncompress image quality for all of our local networks, PBS and sub carrier channels. We'e also ready for the Next Gen ATSC 3.0 launch coming to NY Q4 2022!

We just became Channel Master dealers and installed Channel Master's flagship Pro-Model OTA antenna on our roof and ran RG6 coax to 8 TVs in our showroom. Our local networks never looked so good!!

That’s awesome Robert. I’m assuming in there’s a marked difference between the image quality you see via this set-up versus what you get over cable?

As far as I can tell, we have ATSC 3.0 up and running in the Wash DC area. I might need to give this a closer look!

Yes, OTA from the 25 year old ATSC 1.0 delivers a better overall picture quality than cable can do. ATSC 3.0 will launch in the NY area by December, 2022.

This is probably a dumb question, but are attic/roof antennae definitely needed to receive channels? Or, are there strong antenna boxes (?) that can be used within a home?

Go to https://www.antennaweb.org/nextgen-tv and input your address to get more information on when ATSC 3.0 will launch in your area and the recommended antenna type and how to point it to your local broadcast transmission tower/antenna.

At some point ATSC 3.0 will likely be available over IP and even now they strongly recommend your TV also have a good connection to your home network.

NextGen TV Launches in NYC!

Public television’s WLIW21 of The WNET Group is hosting NextGen TV broadcasts for six local channels:

I've been pulling down ATSC 3.0 here in Seattle for about a year and a half with our HDHomeRun FLEX 4K tuner. It looks slightly better, the audio is definitely better, but at a much lower overall level, so we need to be careful when flipping through channels.

We're having the most serious fun experiences with ZapperBox's new M1-2 OTA ATSC NextGEN TV DVR. This is best way to enhance your Network and PBS channels with the best premium image and audio quality advancements of the new OTA ATSC 3.0 NextGEN TV system.

We have ZapperBox's new M1-2 dual tuner DVR set-top-box connected to Channel Master's CM-1776 Pro Model OTA Antenna. Here's the link to our ZapperBox M1 webpage. Check this out!
