AXPONA 2024 The best attended AXPONA in history. Over 10,350 consumers, trade and Press gathered from 31 countries and 42 states.

Audiophiles, music lovers, musicians, and collectors besides 60% attended for the first time all united at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center, experienced a record-breaking attendee. The show featuring over 220 exhibitors and brands. 200+ interactive listening rooms, an expanded Expo Hall, Ear Gear, Live Concerts, Seminars and much more.
As the years go by, Chicago’s AXPONA is getting to be more and more like a second Munich High End. European and Asian manufacturers who never used to show up at regional U.S. events showing up in droves.

Hi Sonnie, well setting up a system in a hotel room is always a big challenge, however there were many systems that sounded great such as:

Focal and Naim with Grand Utopia EM EVO Speakers, it never sounded better, however I was told that the bass at 14HZ -6 db caused a ceiling light fixture to rattle. But that qucikley was fixed and the G. Utopia never sounded better.

Wilson Speakers, always impressive with their excellence in all things. (I m big fan) Not much more need to be said.

AURALIC And ESD The last two pictures above, supper Dragon speakers system showcased in Munich show, impressive horn speaker system priced only at $4,000,000. It comes with all the amps and horns and was playing AC/DC when we went in the room. A picture is attached.

ZESTO Audio system
The Zesto Audio rooms was always amazing.
And many many more impressive systems.

Not to mention there were many Master classes/ seminars, that always informative about Audio, room acoustics and Optimization.

That's the part I don't like about the shows... crammed rooms and hard to get a chance to sit in the sweet spot. I know the idea is to get more people, as that is what makes the show possible, but it makes it more challenging to listen properly. Not saying it can't be done, just more difficult.
