Did you watch the Noir Version of Logan in 4K? If so, what did you think of it.
They had two versions a black and white and regular. Obviously, as I'm sure most people I'd prefer color when watching a movie. I'm not sure why anyone would prefer a b&w movie?

I guess those who have interest in different cinematography styles.
For example I am keen to high quality Black and White photos. I find them to be more detailed and yet maintain the focus on the subject (person) rather than the distractaction of colors.

Yes, photos look nice in b&w. IMO I'd prefer taking advantage of the WCG my display provides when watching movies though. YMMV…

4K UHD HDR is an oxymoron to B&W, is it not?

I might would still watch a little of it... kind of like the chrome version of Mad Max.

Yeah, it kind of is an oxymoron. Although HDR and WCG are generally lumped into the HDR moniker when they really should be stated as separate entities.

The B&W version in HDR is actually kind of nice. B&W films are not generally my thing, and I didn't particularly enjoy the B&W version of Mad Max Fury Road. Logan, though, I've only watched about half of the movie in B&W. I actually am enjoying it; definitely a different feel to the movie. I'm so glad they decided to bundle it in with the regular release instead of putting it out as a separate version you have to fork over more money for.
