Denon A10H

If anyone has any doubts about the sound quality of the A10H, don't be afraid to buy it. My Dynaudio Contour 20 speakers are not easy to play and it works with great authority and control. My living room is 35 square meters and I don't feel any need for external amplification. If I had known from the beginning that this receiver was so special, I wouldn't have wasted my time buying the previous ones. It was a great experience!
What impresses me is the dynamics in the music during difficult passages. I listen to blues and jazz and there are times when I can't believe it's a receiver. Great AVR !

That AVR is a BEAST, and Denon will tell you they spent time tuning its output with little tweaks to the DACs. Ultimately, tho, it's the careful attention you're giving to setup that's going to take it the extra mile.

But, yeah... you're lucky to have that piece of equipment in your possession. 💥

Two days of a lot of dust and a lot of work. Tomorrow we will finish assembling the panel. We applied a lot of rock wool to practically the entire panel. We still need to put the slats on the sides and cut the plaster on the ceiling to install the LEDs. I will have to change the color of the rack to match the new panel. I am thinking of changing the color to gray with the shelves in white.
Anyway, we have a lot of work until the end of the week, but it is worth the effort.

Finished panel!

I was very happy with the result.
I set up the Stereo system to listen on the weekend.
This week I will change the color of the rack to matte gray.
Little by little it's getting to my taste.

I love it... beautiful. :T

Wow, excellent work! 😍

Thank you, my friends!

It was a week with a lot of dust and work.
The work was really excellent and very tasteful. The LED on gave a plus in the room.
The next step is to change the color of the rack to medium gray. Little by little we are improving the visuals and acoustics of the room.
Multichannel system remains disassembled until the rack is completed.

Have a good week everyone!

Very impressed with the calibration of the Audyssey XT32 + App $20. It's very good for both movies and music.
I exported two different filters for preset 1 and 2. So far I don't feel the need to use DL.
The acoustics of the room also improved significantly after the wood panel with rock wool was finished.
I took the opportunity to line two screens on the side of the room with rock wool.
There's another absorbing panel behind the sofa. The room is almost ready in terms of acoustics.

I closed the screen with TNT fabric. It turned out really

Waiting for another acoustic panel to arrive to hang on the wall behind the sofa.

You have quite the setup... beautiful!!! The wood work is such a great finishing touch. What's better... is that you're loving the sound!

I have no doubt that you're getting great sound from Audyssey. I used it for years without complaint.

That said, I would be curious to read your thoughts on DL using the same setup. I'd imagine your soundstage might grow and tighten up a bit! Any chance you might take the time to explore DL?

Hello my friend! Thanks for the comment. You are a good guy.

I'm even afraid to change the calibration because it turned out so well.
I didn't get good results with DL on the Integra and I'm afraid to throw away $350
Yesterday I finished the acoustics of my room and today I did the Audyssey calibration through the App Editor. I performed the eight positions with the AVR microphone + tripod.
I am very impressed with the result obtained. When I listen in multichannel it gets surreal.
I did a test in Pure Direct and it was also spectacular. I've never had such a cool multichannel sound. This Denon A10H is out of the curve for both music and movies.

I hope it lasts about 20 years... kkkkk

The beast has arrived...

Impressed with the finish and construction of the A10H.

I already had two updates. I did the Audyssey calibration and so far very excited with the audio. Very clean and detailed sound.

The power is sensational passing a lot of control and speed in the boxes, but with the impedance in 8 ohms it heated up the Denon A LOT. My boxes are 4 ohms.

I changed it to 4 ohms and the temperature dropped drastically. After hours on with medium volume it only gets warm.

I didn't notice power loss in 4 ohms and the ECO mode is turned off automatically. For now I'll leave it this way.

So far I'm enjoying A10H A LOT. Definitive integrated.
very nice, congratulations :T

The App Editor is a must-have tool for anyone using the Audyssey XT32.
Yesterday I finished with the room acoustics and today I did a new calibration with eight points using the App Editor + tripod.
The result was incredible for both movies and music.
All old calibrations are saved in the App and can be sent to the Receiver at any time.
I saved today's calibration as Cinema2.
I sent two different graphs for Preset 1 and 2 of the A10H.

I received the good news that my sub SVS SB 12 NSD has a repair. It should be ready in two weeks.
Good that I'll be able to test two subs in my living room.
The JLAudio D110 does a great job for both music and movies.
It can fill the room very easily and with less than half the volume.

I have had a system with the Gryphon Atilla integrated system for over 10 years.
I really like the Gryphon signature, but I am thinking about upgrading.
Has anyone heard the Luxman 509Z and the Accuphase E 4000/5000?
I use Dynaudio Contour 20.

Glad you are enjoying your A10H. I'm loving my A10H in our theater powering a 9.3.4 system. I do have a hypex amp for the LCR but the A10H could likely power everything just fine for my needs. I needed it with my prior SR8015 with had 2 fewer amps so kept using it. It sounds like you are happy with the Audy editor app but there are other calibration options they likely will yield better results, particularly with multiple subs. Dirac with DLBC is excellent but obviously costly. Another option that is free and comes close to Dirac is A1 Evo Neuron.

How cool that a friend showed up with the Denon A10H. We can exchange experiences.

Imagine a guy who's happy with his Denon A10H. This weekend, I watched two series and a few shows. I haven't paid for Dirac Live yet. I'm finding Audyssey + App Editor to be very good.
To give you an idea, I have a Gryphon Atilla integrated that I can use in the LR, but it's not necessary. The A10H has a lot of current and, thanks to that, I can play with the same ease as my Dynaudio Contour 20.
This week, I changed the color of the rack and took the opportunity to do a general cleaning of the equipment. I set everything up on Friday and I have no words to describe how satisfied and fulfilled I am with my system.

It took a lot of work the new TV panel and the change of the color of the rack, but in the end the room was very beautiful
After 8 years without leaving the place, I disassembled all my record player and polished it. It got a sensational glow.

Looking good!!!

The above comment about DL Bass Control is worth paying attention to... Audyssey can definitely deliver, but Bass Control is going to step up things a bit with multi-sub integration.

What are you applying to the rack in order to change color? Some sort vinyl adhesive backed contact paper?
