Hello all.
I'm trying to get an idea of what equipment I would need to apply my REW corrections to a surround system.
My media source is an NVIDIA Shield Pro. It only has HDMI out, though I can probably configure my receiver to use S/PDIF or TOSlink, and then use a USB audio interface, through a dsp, to the receiver.
The main thing I'm running into is that my system is going to be 4.1 or 5.1. Items like the MiniDSP only seem to work with stereo. The digital version of the MiniDSP seems to have optical, but I assume this is also 2 channels.
What would you recommend? I'm not sure I have the budget (or the worthy equipment) for a multi-thousand-dollar unit that requires an external amp.
