Exporting FIR WAV files

Hi All,

I have been using rew for the last couple of days and can navigate and use the software well. There is one thing that I miss and need help with. I don't understand the flow (or step by step) process required to generate FIR files. At the moment, I can measure the room without a problem. I even tried the equalizer and RTA. When I try to export the data into FIR files, I get the following message:

"The selected filter set has no filters that have an effect. Nothing to export".

How do I force the eq settings on my measurement?

That message is shown if you ask REW to export the impulse response of the current EQ filters but there are none. If you want the response of the measurement choose the option to export the impulse response as WAV. This post talks about the process of generating FIR (Finite Impulse Response) filters using REW.
