Feature request: scope

Hello John,
Scope is a very performed function, pleasant and easy to use.
I'd like to suggest an improvement concerning scope.
When the capture is stopped, we can magnify or contract the trace in the display using the mouse whell when the cursor is in the display area. The operation applies from the middle of the display aera( reticule). It seems me better to apply the operation at the position of the mouse cursor.

That's already on the todo list to consider for the scope, though I'm not sure how intuitive it would be.

John, I agree with you although many software uses the cursor position for a zoom function (sketchup for example).

One way to suggest the action on the cursor position could be to draw a vertical strip (3 or 4 pixel thick) at the cursor position when the operator activates the mouse wheel with a display duration of 2 seconds after the mouse whell releasing.
The appearance of the strip could be identical to that of the hysteresis area ( light gray).
