Not sure I can help. I really don’t go by numbers like that. I just EQ my sub for the appropriate house curve for the room (see the house curve article linked in Post #4 of the Minimal EQ article), and then blend it with the mains using music I’m familiar with.Hello Wayne,

Quick question for you:
In the following curve, where would you align the hard knee curve for the sub? I mean what should I set the "target level" to?
Should I try to align the 80Hz point of the HD curve to my speakers average line, which is around 75 dB?
Should the gain of the HD curve 10 db above the average line?
