HBO’s House of the Dragon

I’m still waiting for my neighbor to get back from vacation to start it.

The wait will work to your advantage if you’ll be watching a couple episodes at a time. :) I wait for every Sunday to come around for the next installment. And I‘m still of a mind season 2 is better than 1. I’ve watched season 1 twice. The last was right before the start of 2.

He's coming home Wednesday so I expect to be caught up by Thursday morning! :T

Started it last night with 3 episodes. So far I'd say it's good with #3 being the weakest episode.

We're going to finish it up tonight after already watching the first 6. Overall impression so far is that they should change the name to "House of Draggin' " cause they're stretching this thing out in our opinion. The first 6 episodes could easily be condensed into 2 or 3 episodes. My neighbor fell asleep during episode 6. They're definitely draggin' this one out!

Yeah love the show but I agree it did drag on and the last episode was disappointing

Honestly not even worth watching... sad.

You guys aren't inspiring me to give it a watch. I loved GoT... fantastic show. Not sure I want to sour the experience?

We finished the last two episodes last night and while 7 had it's moments, 8 was a dud.

I can understand building storylines and what not but they're just filling time with a lot of this. Realistically, this could have been 3 episodes instead of eight.

The House of Draggin' On!

I was able to pick up S1 on Kaleidescape for $15 and did a rewatch. Probably going to wait for a sale before buying S2. It's only $35 but these glowing reviews make me think I can probably wait. Though not so long I need to do another rewatch of S1.

Maybe 5?
I‘m guessing this season probably had a lot of backstory to setup the next. I expect more action next season in the battles that are coming. If I’m wrong, everyone will have forgotten by then anyway. :)

It’s ok, not great. I don’t think watching it has affected my enjoyment of GoT. There are kingdoms and settings in common and a common thread about winter coming in the distant future, but the characters and story lines are different enough to keep them separate, i think.

Just picked up Season 2 on Kaleidescape on sale for $20. Now to find time to watch it.
