Hi Everyone,
I'm from Austria.. living about half an hour from Vienna.
I've been a professional musician for ten year but then switched to the IT industry in 1999.
For the last ten years I haven't actively made any music but do more and more Hifi and listening.
Especially since I could dedicate a room in our basement to Hifi (which I also use as my homeoffice).
I have my system ready (Kanta2, Musical Fidelity M8 pre and power amp, Denafrips Pontus 2 DAC, Roon Nucleus Streamer, REL S/510 subwoofer) and for my standards and expectations it's a truly amazing system (I'm well aware though, that in Hifi the cost and potentially quality of my system is just a fraction of what others regard as indispensable).
I've done my first rounds of acoustic room treatments, and am getting familiar with REW at the moment.
I love listening to classical music (Mahler, Beethoven, Bruckner, Bach, and many many more), Rock, Metal, Jazz, Pop.. actually few styles of music that I wouldn't enjoy.
