Home Assistant

@Travis Ballstadt did you get your seymour screen working with home assistant?
Does your seymour controller have direct 1.85, 2.35, 16.9 inputs? or just open and close and then stop?
I don't have the controller yet. The shop has been too busy fulfilling screen orders to finish polishing the controller dev, so I'm still just using the RF remote. Patiently waiting. :)

It will, when available, have direct stops for each ratio, in fact I believe it will be capable of an infinite number, dependent on what device you're using to send commands. The Lumagen should be able to calculate and send a location value for any aspect ratio it detects. The Home Assistant integration will be determined by where it's getting data - Kaleidescape has limited metadata, but has a trim field that allows for the 'tweeners to still be accurately calculated.

I have the controller box.

I haven’t connected the Lumagen yet.
Initially, I believed it was plug-and-play. However, I discovered that it requires splicing the Cat5 cable and rewiring it to the appropriate pins on the Lumagen side.
Unfortunately, I haven’t received a clear explanation of the correct wiring on the Lumagen side. I wish they offered a prewired jumper adapter for this purpose.
I do like the 1.85, 2.40 direct commands.
The only hiccup is the screen must slide all the way back to the home starting position first then you can hit 1.85 (i can solve this with HA automation)
