Hello!

So I've been fiddling with REW and think I've finally got a pretty good reading. Image 1 is the raw info from 4 subs, image 2 after time alignment and REW filters.

Please see the attached images and let me know what you think.

How did you time-aligned them? Do you have each of the 4 on a different channel and adjust timing of each channel, did you move subs physically, or other?

I have 2 subs, waiting for my next 2 kits to arrive, and plan to use a MiniDSP 2x4HD and Multisub Optimizer to accomplish something similar without moving subs physically.

I'm using a MiniDSP 2XHD with REW with the subs in room corners.
I tried MSO but found the tutorial problematic as it's not up to date. I've also only setup for a single seat at the moment.

Once I have time I'll revisit MSO and try to set up for 4 seats.

I simulated 4 subs by moving the two existing subs to where the new ones would be and ran the MSO optimization and looked quite good vs simulating any combination of 2 subs, so I purchased two additional subs.

I am running now two subs with the optimization from MSO and haven't had problems with the tutorial. But it took some experimenting and reading elsewhere.

How does your system sound with the 4 time-aligned subs vs the 4 subs without optimization?

I didn't listen to them without the optimization, I already had two that were optimized.
