How to get Nucleus's DSP integrated for REW measurements

Hi Everyone,

my current setup when doing REW measurements is as follows:

MacBook (with REW software on it) --> Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 --> PreAmp .. etc.

I would like to use my Streamers' (Roon Nucleus+) DSP to address some room nodes and then check/verify its effects with another REW measurement, but don't know how to get the Nucleus into the chain?
With other words, ideally I'd have a setup like this:

MacBook (with REW software on it) --> Focusrite 2i2 --> Roon --> DAC --> PreAmp .. etc.

But, as said, not sure if/how I can hook the Focusrite up to the Nucleus+ (where the Equalization/DSP) is supposed to take place.

What is the purpose of having the Focusrite in the signal chain? Does your MacBook control Roon (Nucleus+)? I would use REW to save some tone(s)/sweep(s) as a file(s) and have Roon play them while you monitor with REW...

There is no purpose to having the Focusrite in the signal chain.. just a beginner's lack of knowledge I guess.
Thanks for your input, that sets me on the right track. By now I have a quite clear picture how to save the sweep(s) as file(s) and have Roon play them.. and I'm confident I'l figure out how the recording/measuring part will work too, but I guess the Focusrite will need to stay in place as that's where the microphone is plugged in.

@Martin1703 Your welcome... Oh, you don't have a USB input microphone? Is that what the Focusrite is for? And do you have your MacBook connected to the Nucleus+ via ethernet wired or wireless?

I run Roon or Audirvana+ on my MacBook > Wifi > Router > Cat8 ethernet > Switch > Cat8 ethernet > LuminU1Mini Streamer > USB > Chord DAC > rest of Analogue Kit...
