I know i am not the only one struggling with REW, WINDOWS10 and ASIO driver...
But if I have a spare laptop: ACER ASPIRE 5739G-874G50Bn from 2009, NVIDIA M520 graphic, DOLBY HOME THEATRE , NVIDI HD AUDIO -> What version of WINDOWS would be best to install to make make this work properly???
Today its WINDOWS 10 HOME with updates installed. Tried to delete all drivers for sound systems except those HD and NVIDIA that i think i must have installed. OR does it not make any difference what version of WINDOWS i install, that is: it's not WINDOWS actually causing all my headache!? I do have a spare ssd drive i easily can switch to and so therefore I would appreciate if someone can give me a hint of what might work for me starting from scratch?! Is slightly annoying having to "reset driver" prior to any change in output doing calibration on my 7.2.4 system.! Any hint or tips would be much appreciated! MANY THANSK IN ADVANCE!
