Hey, everyone. New here to the group.

I'm Erin. I'm from North Alabama. I actually am roughly 2-3 hours drive from your HMFIC, Sonnie. Though, we still haven't gotten the opportunity to meet up.

I have been objectively reviewing audio gear for about a decade now. Started out in car audio. Then moved to home audio (DIY) transducers.
Earlier this year I started up a YouTube channel and website (linked below) where I post my reviews and whatnot. This isn't my job. I have a full time job. This is my passion and I care about what I do.

Rather than type everything up, I thought I might as well share my "about me" video that explains who I am, my background and why I test stuff. Shown below. Hopefully it gives you a good idea of my personality and my love for this hobby and my goals in bringing fair, objective (and subjective) data to those who are in to it.

At any rate, I hope to provide you all with some good informative reviews and the technical data to back it up. I try to not spend much time on the forums because I spend enough time away from my family as is but I do make an effort to drop in every couple days to catch up on anything I've missed as it relates to what I share. I'm always looking for test subjects so if you have something you'd like to see tested feel free to reach out and maybe we can work something out. And if you have any questions about my test results feel free to PM me if you don't want to discuss openly.

That's all. Thanks for having me here and I'll chat with you all soon!

Glad to have you with us Erin and we appreciate you sharing your reviews with us. Keep up the good work... and we do still need to meet one day. Lord willing it will happen. :nerd:

Thanks for having me!

Great to have you join us here Erin!

Appreciate you and what are doing for the audio community!
It’s sometimes hard to believe in 2020 we still have so little info on the actual performance of audio products and still have a heavy reliance on brand, marketing and reviews.
Keep fighting the good fight, sir. We thank you.

Alabama? Let’s stir the hornets nest... Tigers or Tide?

Welcome, keep up the good work

cheers

Reviewing is fun. Welcome!

Hi Erin. Looking forward to your input on the forums.

Hi, Erin! Belated welcome to the forum! I checked out your YouTube channel — it’s great to have another science-based voice out there. Keep up the good work!
