John Woo - The Killer reboot

Looks like there is going to be a remake of John Woo 1989 Hong Kong movie "The Killer".

from deadline,

"John Woo and Universal Pictures are teaming on a new version of his 1989 Hong King crime classic The Killer. It is intended as a star vehicle for Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong’o. She is negotiating to play the assassin, a role originated by Chow Yun-fat. The studio has the film on a fast track, with Woo directing."

I loved the original.. I hope this one will be just as good.

The original is amazing, it will be interesting to see how they rework it and modernize it being filmed and taken place in todays timeframe. I do like John Woo filming stile so I'll watch anything he does.

Yeah, I will watch the remake. I just hope it is good. I really loved the original. Time will tell.
