LG and VE announce the HU810PW/AU810PB Dual Laser 4K Projector

I'm still under a NDR, which will be lifter January 10th. I can say that my last update put LG's first allocation to be mid to the end of January.

We're accepting orders now, but no deposit or payment is needed until we receive LG's first allocation. We just send emails to all our our wait list clients and if you have not emailed us yet please do so.

I gave my HU810PW to Shane, the owner of Youtube channel SpareChange for his thorough review.

Tomorrow my confidentially agreement is lifted and I'll be participating on Stop the FOMO's channel at 6PM EST about the new products announced at tomorrow's press conferences.

Got it. Thought it was lifted effective today. Looking forward to the review from Shane and the webcast tomorrow!!

Here's the link to tomorrow's 3pm EST live video with Q&A chat:

Surprise launch sale for LG's HU810PW with an extra $300 discount so now our all in delivered price is $2,699!

The all black AU810PB with 4 additional features, like 12V trigger, IP and RS232 control, WiSA 5.1 wireless speaker capability, and CalMAN auto calibration get an additional $400 discount making our all in delivered price just $3,599.

Looks like a great deal for the HU810PW. Not really sure how useful those extra features are for the AU810PB.

Anyone have a link to the review?
I didn't see anything on the Spare Change YouTube channel. Just watch that channel for them to post it up.

With the issues of HDMI 2.1 in new receivers, is anyone planning on using one HDMI 2.1 cable from a PS5/XBOX Series X to the LGs HU810PW 2.1 port and eARC to their older receiver? Unsure if that would even work well.

I'm planning on running from my series X through my AVR-X2700H, then to the LG projector 2.1 port via a HDMI 2.1 cable. From what I've read, they are actually able to effectively pass the signal at 4k/120. Guess we will see... and sooner versus later!!

That article says it's only working for the PS5 and Nvidia RTX 30 graphics cards. Hopefully they update it for your XBOX soon.

Yikes, good catch. I thought the RTX 30 was what was in the series X. I just e-mailed Denon support to figure out what "progress" has been made.

Off to search the internet for any review of this PJ... still am not seeing any in English from yesterday or today!
